Best way to wear a gold lame skirt?

I agree with the over-sized shirt/sweater. I also suggest you avoid wearing any other bright colors with it (i.e. Red is a definite no). Stay away from boots, hoop earrings, and flashy make-up too. Make the skirt/your legs the focal point and wear sedate black sandals and a cly, long black sweater. Avoid materials like nylon and rayon in preference for something less slinky, like wool, a cotton blend, brocade, or a heavy/rough silk.
