Is it just me or is and was David Beckham the most over-rated football in the world?

To me he has always been a good dependable player, however not someone you could build a team around and this is coming from someone who has been a United supporter since the early 90s. He never reached the level of Cantona at United and he always seemed to be a failure for England on the international stage. He then moved Real Madrid and was just one of the guys because everyone knows who ran that team, the great Zidane. Besides being a pretty good looking guy, what has he ever done???
