Does anyone else fail to see the "uniqueness" of Lady Gaga?

Everyone raves about how "unique" and "different" she is and I don't see it. Usually people say this when referring to her look but when I look at her all I see is a mash-up of David Bowie, Marilyn Manson, and Madonna. Her entire look/persona has been done before or is currently being done now by artists who came out before her. I don't understand how people can't see that.
