I'm worried about college? how bad will one F affect my chances?

I had a GPA of 3.3 freshman yr and i told myself i was going to raise it sopre year. I've been working REALLY hard this year, but i have a horrible chemistry teacher! i have an F, along with all but 2 other students. I've tried getting help from AP chem. students and they all tell me that my teacher is teaching us more than AP chemistry students learn. I love working with computers (i'm taking Cisco) and i have no interest in chemistry.. will colleges completely ignore my application if they notice a bad grade in chemistry? I mean it's not supposed to be a hard cl.. but my teacher is seriously ridiculous. and i'm just all down about it because i feel like a failure. Will i get into a good college or should i just give up? :[
