Do Rabbits make good pets? Pros/Cons of owning? Is the work they require worth the reward you gain from them?
Rabbits are great pets if you can and are willing to have them. I gave my rabbit hours of attention every day and I still feel like she deserved more. I loved having my rabbit because I loved the way she would eat her food and explore. It is so funny and cute when they are happy and excited and they jump up in the air while their running or flop over. I love that they're so soft and they have such a irresistibly cute face. They require a large variety in their diet. Rabbits also love to chew so if you have anything around like cords, wires, carpet, pillows, books, magazines, anything chewable or my bunny dug out the corner of my carpet behind my bed, all of that could get ruined. I had to buy like 3 new iphone chargers because I slipped up and she got to it before me. If you like to play music loud or other loud things are in your home, this would not be the best environment for a rabbit.I wouldn't really recommend owning them if there are children or other animals around like dogs and some cats. Also, rabbits can be litter box trained but it's not as easy as teaching a cat. All in all I think rabbits are great pets but they are definitely not for everyone. Definitely require more work than a dog or a cat.
