Florida law?

I am moving my belongings out of a self storage facility but payed an extra month in advance.I gave more than the two week notice as required and asked him to make a note of it in the computer in front of me.I have been told I will receive a check and will take a picture of the unit with that days newspaper as proof of condition at that time and will ask for some doent showing I have left from them.If they give me the run around,where do I stand?I didnt get the impression they were too happy Im leaving and after 2yrs and 4 mos,never paying late and sometimes in advance,Im getting that uneasy feeling they are going to try and pull a fast one.I may also ask my father along as a witness.Is there a closure doent required upon my leaving?where do I stand froma legal standpoint if they dont pay?Thanks
