Is it his religious connection that makes Gibson more of a target than other stars of equal wrongs?

I don't think his religious conection with Catholicism has any bearing. I believe that he is a target because he does alcohol instead of cocaine or crack and says what he feels while under the influence of alcohol instead of being a two faced, self obsorbed liberal like the rest of Hollywood. He obviously has a temper problem. Being he was taped saying things that were not what you would suspect doesn't mean he meant them in reality. I say bad things when I am mad as do most people. He is more normal than most in his profession.
