Questions in looking for a trainer?

you are doing great to have the horses trained while you are learning as well this way you will all be on the same page together and it will help make the training process go smother for your horses if you can give positive reinforcement at home. when you are looking for a trainer for the first time I would suggest asking you friends and neighbors that have horses who they use and who they suggest you take your horses to. then when you have a few names you can call them and ask about prices and if they can take another horse right now. also you should be sure that the trainer knows that horses are a little older than most just so that they know and don't have a nasty surprise when you bring two 10 year old horses to have retrained. I don't think there age will make any difference any way but ask just to be safe. good luck and have a great time learning with your horses!!
