Wierd Diahrea..?

Yesterday I had pretty bad diahrea. One at around 4:30 and another round 7. Since then, I've had little spurts every 20 minutes. What I mean is that I feel my stoumach moving around like I'd have diahrea, but whn I it on the toilet I hear the diahrea noise and feel poop coming out yet NOTHING IS ON THE TOILET! What does this mean? Is it worth not going to school for?
