Are the Detroit Lions for real, or will they choke the second half of the season?

After more years than what I care to admit as a Detroit Lions' fan, I cannot get overly excited about they being 6-2 at the half way point of the NFL season. I've seen this team choke many times before, and still want Matt Millen (their GM since 2001) to be fired. Their defense has yet to show they can stop a quality QB this year (the Redskins and Eagles were able to put up better than 80 points total against them). It is no coincidence this team has only won one playoff game since William Clay Ford bought them in 1963, and they havne't been to the playoffs since 1999. What do you think Lions' fans? Will they keep it up, or choke the second half?
